Please read these conditions carefully before purchasing goods on avoris.fi e-commerce. By placing an order you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.

SUMMARY

 

1.  Products ordered from the online store have a 14-day return policy. The products and packages must be completely in mint condition. Charged shipping costs will not be refunded.

a) For domestic orders, we offer our customers free delivery option when total amount of order is over 40 eur and free exchange / return.

b) For orders from Sweden, we offer our customers free delivery when total amount of order is over 50 eur and free exchange to same product. Return costs are 9.90 eur when the purchase is cancelled.

c) For international orders (other than Sweden), the customer is responsible for all delivery and return costs.

2. We always try to process and send the orders as soon as possible. Mainly we pack and ship orders on the same day when the order is received before 13.00 on business day. Orders received on weekends, holidays or after 13.00 on business days are generally sent the next business day. Estimated delivery times for non-stock items can be found from the product pages.

3. If the item you received was wrong or defective, the consumer must inform Avoris Oy customer service immediately either by email: myynti@avoris.fi or by phone +358 8 337307 Mon-Fri 8.00-16.00 (please notice that English customer service by phone may not always be available). Claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the goods.

4. Force Majeure. Seller will not be responsible for any delay or failure in any performance due, without limitation, war, warlike conditions, blockade, embargoes, riots, governmental restriction, labor disturbances, unavailability of anticipated usual means of supplies, transportation or loading facilities, wrecks, epidemics, quarantine, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, any unforeseen change in circumstances, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control.

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Avoris webstore is an online store maintained by Avoris Oy (VAT FI18777256). The following terms and conditions apply to the trading relationship between Avoris Oy and its customers. Avoris Oy reserves the right to unilaterally change the terms of the agreement without prior notice. Orders are subject to the Finnish consumer protection law and the terms and valid conditions at the time of order, which can be found on Avoris Oy's website. Unless otherwise provided by law, any changes in the law will take effect immediately.

Avoris Oy will not be responsible for any delay or failure in any performance due, without limitation, war, warlike conditions, blockade, embargoes, riots, governmental restriction, labor disturbances, unavailability of anticipated usual means of supplies, transportation or loading facilities, wrecks, epidemics, quarantine, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, any unforeseen change in circumstances, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control.

 

2. CUSTOMER

Avoris webstore sells products to adults and, with the approval of the guardian, also to individuals under the age of 18 (hereinafter referred to as the consumer) and to companies and organizations in Finland and in defined European countries.

Consumer trade is in compliance with current Finnish and European Union consumer protection legislation. The terms and conditions of Avoris Oy's contract are not valid as long as they restrict the consumer's rights under the mandatory law. When placing an order, the consumer is obliged to disclose his full contact details, which include at least the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions, the Finnish trade law applies to trade between corporate and organizational customers and Avoris Oy. Corporate or organizational customers are required to give a full name, address, business ID, name of contact person, telephone number, email address, and a separate billing address for billing customers.

After 30 days of order, customers can be sent a product evaluation invitation, which is optional and applies only to products purchased by the customer.

Customer information is stored in Avoris Oy's customer register and are used only to maintain and manage the customer relationship.

 

3. ORDER VALIDITY

After placing an order, the client commits to monitor his / her e-mail in order to receive the order confirmation. A binding trade agreement will enter into force when Avoris Oy has sent an order confirmation. The consumer has the right to cancel the entire order or parts of the order by email, letter or telephone before the order is delivered. Delivery has taken place when a part of the order has been delivered to the consumer or a notice that the order can be picked up. After customer has placed the order, Avoris Oy has no right to change the terms of the contract. Failure to collect a package or the refusal of receiving the package does not mean the cancellation or return of the order. If the customer fails to collect the package without notifying Avoris Oy, Avoris Oy is entitled to charge the customer a handling and delivery fee of EUR 19.90 or total amount of delivery costs.

 

4. PRODUCT PRICES, AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY TIME

Product prices in the webstore include Finnish VAT. If there is a clear error in the price of the products that can be assumed to understand by the customer, the products will not be sold at significantly lower prices. If the price of the product increases before the shipment is processed, the products will be delivered at the original order price. When the price drops before processing, we always deliver the products at a new cheaper price. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.

  • Product availability and estimated delivery time can be found from the product pages, and the same information is also displayed in the shopping cart and order confirmation.
  • If the order is made by 13.00 on the business day and the product is in our stock, we will deliver it mainly the same day
  • Orders made after 13.00 on business days, weekends or holidays will generally be shipped the next business day
  • If the product is not in our stock, estimated delivery time can be found from the product page
  • Estimated delivery times are based on information provided by distributors and manufacturers. Avoris Oy is not responsible for any delays caused by unpredictable changes outside its sphere of influence.
  • We do not deliver back orders, the order will be sent when all products from the order are or have been arrived to our stock
  • Responsibility for lost shipments lies with Avoris Oy. If the order has not arrived within 14 days of the shipment, we will make request of investigation to Posti based by customer contact. Before that, the customer can inquire about the shipment from Posti.

 

5. PAYMENT METHODS

Up-to-date payment methods can be found at this link. Some of the payment methods require registration as a customer and approval from Avoris Oy.

Corporate customers and organizations have the opportunity to apply for Avoris Oy's billing customer.

 

6. DELIVERY METHODS

The available delivery methods and prices depend on the products in the order and the total price of the order. Free shipping costs found from the website and in these terms and conditions apply only to e-commerce orders. Charged shipping costs will not be refunded upon return. 7. PRODUCT EXCANGE AND RETURN

1) In the case of internation orders (sent outside Finland or Sweden), charged shipping costs are not refunded on product returns and the customer pays the costs of return. Likewise, in the case of product exchanges to outside Finland, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

2) Orders to Sweden, Avoris Oy provides to consumers free exchange for unused products according to the terms below. Return costs are 9.90 eur when the purchase is cancelled.

3) For domestic orders (delivered to Finland), Avoris Oy provides to consumers free *) exchange and return for unused products in according to the terms below.

*) The exception for free exchange and / or return is made by large-scale products that may be subject to exchange or refund. Information on the chargeability of the exchange or refund can be found on the product pages of these products without exception.

NOTE! Products customized / purchased from our outlet with the help of staff do not have the right to return. In this case we will compensate unused products when exchanging products within 14 days.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

According to Chapter 6, Section 14 of the Finnish consumer protection law, a consumer customer has the right to exchange and return products ordered from webstore within the limits specified in section 16 of the same chapter (see restrictions under the heading "Exceptions to the right of return").

The right of return applies only to unused, mint condition products with original unharmed package that can be resaled as new. The customer can familiarize himself with the product in the same way as in the store to check the properties and functionality of the goods. The product is not unused if it shows clear signs of wear and/or dirt.

 

  • If the consumer does not keep the item essentially unchanged, Avoris Oy has the right to charge the amount corresponding to the devaluation of the goods
  • If the goods have become unsuitable for sale, Avoris Oy may refuse to refund the amount paid to the customer
  • For an unnecessary returns, we charge a handling fee of EUR 19.90 or total amount of delivery costs
  • The customer must always notify Avoris Oy of the return or cancellation of the order. Failure to collect a package, refusal of receiving the package or just returning the goods does not mean the cancellation or return of the order. If the customer fails to collect the package without notifying Avoris Oy, Avoris Oy is entitled to charge the customer a handling and delivery fee of EUR 19.90 or total amount of delivery costs.
  • The consumer must submit a cancellation notice to the Avoris Oy within 14 days of receiving the shipment and return the goods within 14 days of the cancellation notice. The cancellation notice can be made, for example, by replying to the original order confirmation by email and by giving notice of cancellation.
  • For domestic orders (sent to Finland): although according to the law the return costs can be charged from the customer, in the Avoris Oy webstore, the consumer can usually return the product / products at the seller's expense by using our customer return agreement. The customer return number can be found on the return form that came with your order. NOTE! Exception on large products, return can be chargeable. Information on the chargeability of the return can be found from the product pages of these products without exception.
  • If customer selected non-free shipping costs, they will not be refunded in case of return.
  • The return of discontinued products is subject to a fee (8.90 euros).

 

EXCEPTIONS IN RIGHTS TO RETURN

  • In order to prevent abuse, the right of exchange and return does not apply to products ordered / manufactured individually for the customer. If a custom-made product does not meet your expectations, we can negotiate for replacement of the product
  • Hygiene products do not have the right to return because they are not returnable due to their nature. Such products include for example socks, gel and silicone products that come againts skin as well as muscle stimulators (if the electrode pack is opened)
  • In business and community trade delivery terms are different because they are not subject to the contract terms of the Finnish consumer protection law. There is no right to return products without separate agreement. We can negotiate about changing the product when the question is about our stock products. In that case customer will pay all transport costs.

 

WHAT TO DO WHEN RETURNING OR EXCHANGING PRODUCTS

  1. Check that the product you want to return or excange is in a resale = mint condition. It is the customer's responsibility to try the product so that no traces of use remain. Also, make sure that the product you are returning or exchanging does not have dirt or hair from your pet. Unfortunately, hygiene products such as socks or skin gels may not be returned for hygiene reasons
  2. Make a cancellation or exchange notice to Avoris Oy within 14 days of receiving the shipment. This can be done, for example, by replying to the original order confirmation by email and informing about the return / exchange.
  3. Pack products in their original packaging. Never glue, rivet, tape, or write anything on the original packages
  4. Include the information in the list below * according to your return or exchange to make it easier to handle.
  5. For domestic orders (sent to Finland) only: Write following address to the package and add the customer return number found on the return form that came with your order. AVORIS OY, HAARANSUONTIE 13 B 1, 90240 OULU
  6. For international orders (sent outside Finland) only: Write following address to the package.  AVORIS OY, HAARANSUONTIE 13 B 1, 90240 OULU, FINLAND
  7. For domestic orders (sent to Finland) only: Take the package to the nearest Finnish Posti office and give it to clerk. Inform that it is a customer return package to Avoris Oy and provide them customer return number than can be found from the return form. Always leave a return to the counter of the customer service and ask for a receipt from your return. Otherwise we cannot refund the product if there is no receipt or proof of return. Also check that the receivers information on the receipt is correct. We do not claim the items sent to us by cash on delivery , nor do we reimburse the costs incurred by the customer for such a shipment.
  8. For international orders (sent outside Finland) only: Send the package via personally selected courier / post office. Always ask for a receipt from your return. Otherwise we cannot refund the product if there is no repeipt or proof of return. We do not claim the items sent to us by cash on delivery, nor do we reimburse the costs incurred to the customer for such a shipment.
  9. For orders to Sweden only: Attach returning adress label which came with the order to the packaging and take it to nearest DHL service point: https://paketshopfinder.dhlpaket.at/

 

INCLUDED INFORMATION IN CASE OF RETURN OR EXCHANCE*

Product exchange (only if exchanged product is the same price as the original):

  • carefully completed return form (order number, name, address, and phone number)
  • copy of the shipment note
  • write down name(s) of the product(s) that you want to change and product that you want as replacement (both have to be same price)

Product exchange when products are different price:

  • carefully completed return form (order number, name, address, and phone number)
  • return the product you ordered as described in the "Product return" guide below and make a new order for the new product. These will be treated as a separate cases

Product return:

  • carefully completed return form (order number, name, address, and phone number)
  • copy of the shipment note
  • write name(s) of the product(s) that you want to return

 

PAYMENT REFUNDS / SENDING PRODUCT EXCHANGES

We always try to refund payments to the customer as quickly as possible. Please note that Posti customer return packages arrive at a slower pace than packages delivered customers. In the case of a return, the payment will be refunded or the invoice canceled in the same way as it was made with the webstore order. The Finnish law requires money to be refunded within 30 days of returning the product. When Paytrail is a as payment agent, you will receive an e-mail from Paytrail after the return for refund.

In the case of exchange, the replacement product will be sent immediately after processing or when we receive a replacement product in our stock.

NOTE! We do not refund charged shipping costs in case of return.

 

8. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

The warranty is subject to the conditions specified by the manufacturer. The buyer is obliged to familiarize himself with the warranty terms and conditions provided with the product before putting it into use. The warranty terms can be found from the user manulas, a separate warranty form or the manufacturer's network address.

Avoris Oy reserves the right to verify the faults reported on the products.

The cost of unnecessary return is charged in full to the buyer if the product is clearly delivered to warranty service unnecessarily.

 

9. RECLAMATIONS

 

If the wrong product has been delivered to the consumer, the product is damaged, etc., the consumer must notify in writing Avoris Oy within a reasonable time (within 7 days of receiving the product), either by e-mail to myynti@avoris.fi or by mail to Avoris Oy, Haaransuontie 13 B 1, 90240 Oulu, Finland. Invalid shipping will be returned with filled return form without postage according to the instructions given by Avoris Oy. Returns are made after the complaint has been made. After receiving of the returned goods, Avoris Oy will return the already paid purchase price to the customer or alternatively replace or repair the defective / wrong product as the customer wishes.

Despite careful packing, packages can be damaged during shipping. Therefore, it is good to check the condition of the package when you collect it in the presence of a clerk. Reclamation of  transport damage is made to the clerk or driver of the goods. If the package is damaged during transportation and the ordered product has been damaged, please notify the post office immediately. Then contact our customer service to agree on a new product delivery.

Complaints are handled only in writing. A free-form complaint may be submitted either by email to myynti@avoris.fi or by mail to Avoris Oy's address.

The consumer has the right to bring any dispute arising from this agreement to the Finnish consumer disputes board. The consumer may bring an action against the disputes arising against Avoris Oy either in the district court of Oulu or in the district court of his or her domicile in Finland. Attorney costs are not reimbursed as the Finnish consumer advice and consumer disputes board offers free assistance in resolving disputes.
